From UMReproter : June 14, 2002 Korean UMC in Albuquerque breaks ground for first building The Korean UMC church site is located on Tyler Road NE, just off Osuna and Edith. Construction is expected to begin immediately. Funding has been secured, and a building permit has been issued. "Everybody was so excited," said the Rev. James Large, Director of Mission and Administration for the New Mexico Conference, who was among those participating in the ground-breaking service. "It was like watching one of your kids move into the first home. "Their prayer is that they'll be able to worship in their own building by Christmas." |
